About Us

We have always owned dogs of one sort or another. We began breeding and showing Australian Cattle Dogs in 1990. 

Over the following years whilst we raised our two sons we owned dogs of many and varied breeds such as Irish Wolfhounds, American Bulldogs, Kelpies and even a Bloodhound.

In 2006 we bought our first Whippet. Minnie was an unregistered 'purebred' who found a place in our hearts and ensured we would be forever hooked on this amazing breed. We had 2 other unregistered whippets after her but as Minnie was approaching her 16th birthday we wanted to purchase a registered purebred and begin showing and breeding again.

After looking at breeders all over Australia we decided upon Ashsinhalt Whippets in SA and joined a wait list.

In April 2022 Ashsinhalt Kaichou arrived at Perth Airport and our hearts were stolen once again.

We chose to participate in Lure Coursing with Annie and have so far loved every minute of it, as has Annie!
